Alesha Dixon showers one year old with lavish birthday bash ahead of BGT return

Alesha Dixon ensured there were no expenses spared when she threw her one year-old-daughter Anaya a lavish birthday party.

The 41-year-old Britain’s Got Talent judge enlisted the help of family and friends to put together a gorgeous festival-themed bash for Anaya, who turned one on August 20.

Sharing lots of snaps with her 1 million Instagram followers, Alesha showed off garden decorations and activities that had been set up for the ‘firstival’.

In one picture, the birthday girl Anaya played on some fluffy rugs lined with pillows set in front of a cute pink den.

The doting mum had also set up a stunning indoor tent area next to a fully kitted-out pink and purple play area.

The musician also hired a traditional ice cream truck as well as a pink coffee and cocktail van that served a selection of cute cocktails named after Alesha’s family.

There was also an elaborate four-tier birthday cake and plenty of carefully-decorated cupcakes to share with guests.

Alesha and her husband Azuka had even arranged for a festival sign that pointed arrows in the direction of the picnic area, cinema screen, hook-a-duck and even a glitter bar.

Alesha was flooded with comments from her followers, who swooned over the gorgeous decorations at the fun-filled event.

“Love this and gutted we couldn’t be there, especially as the food and booze looks banging,” penned one of Alesha’s friends.

“Omg imagine when she’s 5 what the yard will be like lol,” joked another fan.

A third wrote: “Wow it looks amazing. Hope she has the best birthday.”

Anaya’s first birthday came shortly before Britain’s Got Talent returns to screens for the live semi-finals.

Four months after the auditions aired, the popular talent show returns this Saturday with Alesha Dixon at the helm alongside Amanda Holden, David Walliams and Ashley Banjo.
