In the new Sky Atlantic show, Billie plays a former pop star whose intimate photos are leaked online.
Billie – a former singer herself – portrays Suzie Pickles, who is thrust back into the limelight when a phone hack leads to the publication of pictures showing her in bed with a man who is not her husband.
The lead character is shown going from child star to an adult in her 30s with work drying up.

Billie insisted the story is not based on her life, but she can certainly empathise with the character.
She said: “This is not autobiographical, but a lot of my own feelings are there as a woman in her thirties.
“My photos have never been hacked – but setting it in the world of being an actor creates a lot of drama, fun and entertainment.”
“Everyone has a profile now: whoever you are, if your phone is found it could be so incriminating. Your entire life could be destroyed by a few innocent texts.”
