The former Who’s the Boss star-turned-political activist posted a message on her Instagram and Facebook accounts briefly describing a 2015 encounter with Ivanka Trump while expressing sadness over what the president’s daughter ‘has evolved into.’

‘I met Ivanka Trump when I was hosting Project Runway All Stars, she told me I was her hero,’ the Charmed actor wrote on her social media.

‘I’m sad to see what she has evolved into.’

Milano ended her message urging her nearly 3 million followers on Instagram to support the Democratic nominee for president, Joe Biden.

Milano’s post on Instagram included a screenshot of a gushing tweet from Ivanka Trump in 2014.

‘I’m admitting to a total girl crush on Alyssa Milano,’ the president’s daughter posted on October 30, 2014.

‘She’s hilarious! And incidentally, one of the first people I followed on Twitter.’

Presumably, Trump was watching Milano hosting the reality show Project Runway All Stars.

Milano joined the Lifetime show’s panel of judges in 2013 and stayed on for another five seasons.

At the time, Ivanka Trump, 38, was a private citizen working for her father, Donald Trump, before the real estate mogul mounted his successful run for the presidency in 2015.

At the time, Milano tweeted at Ivanka Trump: ‘You don’t follow me on Twitter. But as a public servant, you work for me. You’ve proclaimed yourself a feminist.’ Milano continued: ‘Use your access to demand that Professor Ford’s request for a full, fair, trauma-informed investigation by the FBI be held.’ She ended the post with the hashtag #DearIvanka.

After Trump took office, his eldest daughter left the Trump Organization and joined him in the White House as a senior adviser.

After Trump took office, his administration implemented tough policies on sensitive issues like immigration, LGBTQ rights, and the judiciary.

Liberals hoped that one-time Democrats like Ivanka Trump and her husband, Jared Kushner, who is also a senior adviser to the president, would serve as a moderating influence on the president.

But when Trump’s children gave their full-throated support for his policies, liberals heaped scorn on them.

During the Trump era, Milano has seen her social media influence rise as a political activist for feminist and liberal causes.

In October 2017, the former child star was credited with helping the hashtag #MeToo go viral after several powerful men in the entertainment industry, chief among them Harvey Weinstein, were outed for alleged sexual crimes against women in Hollywood.

A year later, she was seen attending the Senate Judiciary Committee hearings into the nomination of Brett Kavanaugh for a seat on the Supreme Court.

In August 2019, Milano once again tweeted at the president’s daughter. After Ivanka Trump hailed a decision by Saudi Arabia to allow women to obtain passports, travel, and work without getting permission from a male relative, Milano tweeted: ‘What happened to you?’

Milano was advocating on behalf of Christine Blasey Ford, a California college professor who testified during the hearings that Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her during a high school party in the 1980s.

Kavanaugh was ultimately confirmed to the bench, but only after Democrats demanded an investigation into Ford’s claims. Kavanaugh denied ever assaulting Ford.

The public pressure on Ivanka Trump appeared to work. According to a Vanity Fair report from September 2018, she urged her father to ‘cut bait’ and dump Kavanaugh.

The Trump administration has been criticized for being too cozy with the rulers of the desert kingdom, particularly the de facto head, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

The CIA and other international agencies believe MBS orchestrated the murder of a Washington Post columnist, Jamal Khashoggi, who was critical of his regime.

In 2018, Khashoggi, a US resident, entered a Saudi diplomatic mission in Istanbul and did not emerge. It is believed he was murdered.

Milano was most recently embroiled in a Twitter dispute with her Charmed co-star, Rose McGowan.

McGowan accused Milano of being a ‘fraud’ and of hijacking the #MeToo movement after the actress voiced her support for Joe Biden and defended the Democratic party.

The two actresses fired back at each other during an ugly Twitter spat last Friday, after McGowan went on a rant saying Democrats have done nothing to help minorities and the poor.

She also blasted Biden’s speech at the DNC in which he said President Trump had ‘cloaked America in darkness for much too long.’

McGowan, 46, has been an outspoken critic of the presidential candidate and his supporters after she sided with his accuser Tara Reade, who claims the former VP assaulted her in 1993.

In a tweet following Biden’s speech on Friday night, McGowan responded: ‘You are the season of darkness @JoeBiden @dnc. You are monsters. You are frauds. You are the lie.’

‘What have the Democrats done to solve ANYTHING? Help the poor? No. Help black & brown people? No. Stop police brutality? No. Help single mothers? No. Help children? No. You have achieved nothing. NOTHING. Why did people vote Trump? Because of you motherf**kers,’ she added in a follow-up tweet.

The comments drew criticism from thousands of users defending the Democratic party including Milano and fellow actress Patricia Arquette.

Milano, 47, responded with a 26-tweet thread of ‘all the things the Democratic Party has done to make the world a better place’, beginning in 1920.

She claimed Democrats ‘lead the way’ on issues of abortion, women’s rights, healthcare, racial justice and LGBTQ rights, before firing back at McGowan saying she was the true ‘fraud.’
