Kentucky mall is on lockdown after reports of an active shooter

Police have responded to a shooting at Fayette Mall in Lexington, Kentucky after reports of gunfire at 4pm. 

Cops surrounded the mall which was put on lockdown as shoppers are told to shelter in place, while locals have been told to avoid the area. 

There are unconfirmed witness reports that an unidentified man was shot in the head during the incident. Another reports that they saw someone being carried out on a stretcher.

No arrests have been confirmed.
