Panvel – A young man raped a corona patient in a quarantine center, accused also infected

Panvel Maharashtra : Rape in Covid center

A heartbreaking incident has come to light from Panvel in Maharashtra. A woman was raped on Thursday night at Covid Center here. Surprisingly, both the rape accused and the victim are corona patients.

According to Panvel police, Panvel and Navi Mumbai Metropolitan Municipality have built a Kovid Center in the vacant buildings of India Bulls in Konan village of Panvel. Here Corona-infected accused and the victim were kept in the Quarantine Center a few days ago.

Deputy Commissioner of Police Ashok Dudhe said that a woman was recruited after being corona at India Bull Quarantine Center. The accused was also being treated in the same center. After the incident, the police station has registered a rape case.
