Uttar Pradesh : Again lockdown imposed in UP – from July 10 till July 13
The state government has reimposed the lockdown in a bid to cut the chain of transmission of coronavirus, Chief Secretary Rajendra Tiwari said on Thursday.
The Uttar Pradesh government has once again announced a lockdown in the state amid rising cases of Corona virus infection. The lockdown will continue in the state from 10 pm on the night of 10 July to 5 in the morning of 13 July. During this period, only essential goods shops and hospitals will remain open. Everything else will be banned.

The Uttar Pradesh government has decided to lockdown twice when the number of corona patients in the state is increasing rapidly. Talking about Thursday, a record 1248 new cases have been registered in the state. With this, the number of infected has increased to 32 thousand 362. However, the recovery rates of corona patients in the state are better than other states. The state currently has more than 10,000 active cases and the death toll from Corona is 862.
Earlier, lockdowns have been announced in many districts including the capital Patna in Bihar.

During the lockdown, starting 10 am on Friday, markets, haats, mandis and offices in all urban and rural areas will remain closed.
However, essential services will continue to ply.
The Uttar Pradesh government, in its notification, said that all essential and medical services will continue to function as normal during the lockdown and there will be no restriction on the movement of people involved in these services.
No restriction has been imposed in the movement of those involved in door-step delivery services either.
