Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan has decided to extend his support to Nepal PM KP Sharma Oli. Oli is currently finding himself isolated within the ruling Nepal Communist Party after blaming India for the rebellion in his party. Nepal’s PM Oli on Sunday accused his opponents of trying to oust him from power.
Along with this, Oli also said that India wants to oust him from power by publishing a new map of the country depicting Lipulekh, Kalapani and Limpiyadhura as part of Nepal. On the other hand, senior leader of Oli’s party, Pushp Kamal Dahal Prachanda said that they should prove the allegations made by Oli, if they cannot, they should resign.
In such a situation, Imran Khan has now come forward to support Oli. Officials told Hindustan Times that Islamabad has sent a message to Nepal’s foreign ministry to talk to Oli to talk to Oli at the time of Imran Khan’s phone call.
