Safura Zargar gets bail from Delhi HC, Center did not oppose

They were taken action under UAPA. Violence erupted in Delhi during a protest against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), in which more than 50 people died.
The central government did not oppose Safura Zargar’s bail application on the basis of humanitarianism. Solicitor General Tushar Mehta said that the state has no problem with Safura being released on bail. Provided that he is not involved in the activities for which he is being motivated.

After hearing the Centre’s plea, the Delhi High Court has granted bail to Safura Zargar on a personal bond of Rs 10,000 and some other conditions.
