Doctor climbing from pipe to meet girlfriend at girls hostel in Indore falls from fourth floor, dies

Indore. A doctor died of a fall from the fourth floor at Index Medical College on Friday night. He lived in Boys Hostel and went to meet the girlfriend living in Girls Hostel with the help of pipes. Suddenly the pipe broke and fell backwards from the fourth floor.    

According to Khudail TI Rupesh Dubey, the incident took place at around 3.30 pm. 24-year-old Ayush Sharma, resident of Hamadpur Mohalla Betul, was doing an internship at Index Medical College. Ayush had a love affair with a student studying in this college. The girl had gone home due to the lockdown. She returned to college on Friday. At night, both of them had a conversation on the phone and Ayush said that he was coming to meet. 

The student lives in Ahilya Girls Hostel. While Aayush lived in the intern boys hostel. Both are close by. Late night, Ayush reached the roof and holding an iron pipe reached the roof of Girls Hostel. Due to the lock on the stairs, the student could not reach. Suddenly he planned to reach the campus with plastic pipe. As soon as he climbed the pipe he broke.

Ayush fell down on his back from around 60 feet height. He died of a deep head injury. According to TI, after hearing the sound of water flowing late at night, the female guard reached the spot, called the staff and brought Ayush to a private hospital. But the doctor declared him dead.

Girlfriend found out in the morning, mistreatment

Here, his girlfriend was unaware of the accident. She came to know when she woke up in the morning. She got upset. The management has restrained her friends in the room to handle her. The family has also given information. Ayush’s friends left for Betul with his body.
