Bikaner / Doctor went to meet girlfriend secretly, got stranded in lockdown and girl’s family made them get married

Due to the lockdown in the country since 25 March, a doctor from Jodhpur, got stuck in Bikaner district to meet his fiancee. As soon as the lockdown progressed, the family started worrying about how long the son-in-law would stay in the house without marriage. After 30 days of marriage without in-laws, both of them got married.

This wonderful marriage is being discussed everywhere. Vivek Mehta, a resident of Jodhpur and working in Ahmedabad, got engaged to Pooja Chopra of Bikaner, who is a fashion designer by profession.

Vivek reached Gangahar in Bikaner on March 21 to meet his fiance Pooja. The next day the movement of the train stopped. Since the lockdown started in Rajasthan from 22 March, he could not go back to Ahmedabad, so he was forced to stay in his in-laws’ house.

When the lockdown increased for the second time from April 15 to May 3, Pooja’s father explained his problem to the president of the Jain Samaj of Gangahar in Bikaner, but the family of Dr. Vivek could not come here from Ahmedabad due to the lockdown. It was also not possible to do a court marriage during this lockdown.

On the other hand, Vivek also thought that by how long he will stay in the in-laws, the situation has become strange. Finally, after 30 days of in-laws with the consent of both the families, on Monday, Vivek and Pooja were tied up in a marriage bond.

However, none of the groom’s brothers and sisters, Vivek’s parents, could attend the wedding. Tied in marriage in the presence of the bride’s family. Due to the lockdown, the family and friends of Dr. Vivek saw the wedding on video call. Fashion designer Pooja also took blessings from her mother-in-law and father-in-law on a video call.

Vivek told that before the wedding, we also got pre wedding shoot done at home. Now when the lockdown is lifted, only then will Pooja go to her in-laws’ house. Right now both Dr. Vivek and Pooja are in the Gangeshahar of Bikaner.
