Sreesanth’s reaction on Shoaib Akhtar’s proposal for IND-PAK series

Indian fast bowler S.K. Sreesanth criticized Shoaib Akhtar’s suggestion that the former Pakistani player had talked about organizing India and Pakistan series to raise funds for Kovid-19. Sreesanth has said that nothing can happen until the relationship between the two countries improves.

Sreesanth said in a live chat on Instagram that our relations with Pakistan are not good. So India first, health first. Personally, I am not in favor of playing with Pakistan until the relationship between the two countries improves. Sreesanth was part of the T20 and 2011 ODI World Cup winning teams. Haven’t played for India since the 2011 World Cup.

Let us know that former Pakistan fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar recently talked about joining India and Pakistan in the war against Corona virus infection. Akhtar had said that for this battle against Corona, a three-match charity ODI series should be played between India and Pakistan and the funds raised should be shared equally between the two governments. Akhtar’s proposal did not appeal to the legendary cricketers of India.

Former captain Sunil Gavaskar even went on to say that snowfall could still occur in Lahore at this time, but not the India-Pakistan series. Not only Sunil Gavaskar, Akhtar’s statement was rejected by former India captain Kapil Dev and said that India does not need money and should only focus on staying healthy.
