Trains can run again from April 15, must arrive station 4 hours before
new Delhi. The operations of the closed trains due to lock down can start again from April 15. Indian Railways has prepared the necessary protocols to resume the operations of trains. Under the new protocol, passengers will have to reach the railway station four hours before the scheduled time of the train.
Thermal screening of all passengers will be done before entering the railway station. Only passengers who pass thermal screening will be allowed to enter the railway station. Apart from this, the passengers who will complain of fever, cough, cold, will not be allowed to travel.
According to a senior railway official, from April 15, traveling in the reserved non-AC sleeping class will be allowed. Trains will neither have AC coaches nor will be allowed to travel in unreserved class. Not only this, only passengers in the railway station who reserve tickets in non-AC sheer category will be allowed to enter the railway station.
During this time, the sale of platform tickets in any station will be completely banned. Passengers who have waiting tickets will also not be allowed to enter the railway station. Apart from this, the Railways has made up its mind to advise senior citizens not to travel for the time being.
