According to information received by ABP News, Salman Khan has called the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE), the mother organization of the industry, and asked for information about the bank accounts of 25000 daily laborers so that they can be provided financial assistance.
FWICE General Secretary Ashok Dubey told ABP News, “Salman Khan Films CEO Shamira Nambiar had called the Federation a few days ago to help the daily wage laborers. I told them that the Federation was doing so with five related to different genres Lakh workers are connected, but the number of daily wage laborers is about 25000.
At the same time, Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) President BN Tiwari said that Salman’s contribution will help the artists. Tiwari is quoted as saying that he criticized the filmmakers and stars who are making big donations to the Prime Minister’s Civil Assistance and Relief Fund instead of helping the film industry workers.
He further said, ‘Salman has come forward to help the daily workers. He contacted us three days ago. We have five lakh workers, out of which 25 thousand workers are in dire need of financial help. Salman has said that he will take care of these workers himself. “
