Jabalpur will remain locked down till 26th March, lock down period extended for four days
Jabalpur. In Madhya Pradesh’s Jabalpur district, the lock-down period has been extended by four days to prevent infection of corona virus. During this period, all shops, business establishments and private, government and non-government institutions in Jabalpur district will be closed except for essential services and daily necessities like medicine, milk, vegetables, fruits and ration.
District Magistrate and Collector Bharat Yadav has issued orders to this effect. As per the order, the period of restriction on the operation of buses was also extended by four days, except for vehicles with essential services.
In view of the public curfew, the press briefing held at the Collectorate has been postponed at 5 pm on Sunday evening. Now from Monday 23 March, the press briefing will be at 5 pm daily.
It is noteworthy that there was a stir in Jabalpur on March 20 after the meeting of four Corona positive people, after which it was announced to lock down Jabalpur for two days till 22 March, which has been extended for four days. .
