Center instructed 50 percent of its employees to work from home due to Corona
In view of the rising outbreak of Corona virus, the central government has asked 50 percent of its employees to work from home. Only 50 percent of the remaining people came to office. Explain that in view of the rising outbreak of Corona virus, the Directorate of Education of Delhi has closed all the schools till 31 March. For this the Directorate has issued a circular. Earlier, on March 12, the Delhi government announced that only those schools and colleges would be open where exams are still going on. Now the Directorate of Education has announced the closure of all schools by 31 March.
The Ministry of Human Resource Development on Wednesday directed that the examinations of CBSE and all other educational institutions be postponed to 31 March. It also includes college and university examinations. HRD Secretary Amit Khare said that it is necessary to maintain the academic calendar and exam schedule, but the safety of students, teachers and parents is equally important. Therefore all the remaining exams of CBSE 10th and 12th and examinations of other educational institutions will be postponed till 31 March and their new dates will be announced later.
Corona virus cases have increased further in India and the figure has reached close to 166. According to data released by the Ministry of Health, the number of people infected with corona across the country has increased to 166. Of these, 25 foreign nationals are also involved. Maharashtra has reported 42 cases including three foreigners while 27 cases have been registered in Kerala, including two foreign nationals.
There are 14 patients of corona virus in Karnataka. In Ladakh, the number of infections has increased to eight and in Jammu and Kashmir it has increased to four. There have been 6 cases in Telangana including two foreigners. In Rajasthan, 5 people including two foreigners are infected with the corona virus. Two cases have been reported in Tamil Nadu, while one case each has been reported in Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, Chandigarh, Uttarakhand and Punjab. 16 people including 14 foreigners are infected in Haryana.
