Madhya Pradesh: Railways increased platform ticket price to stop congestion at station as prevention measure for Coronavirus spread
To prevent the spread of corona virus and reduce congestion at the railway station, Ratlam Railway Board has taken a big decision. Ratlam Rail Division has increased the platform ticket to Rs 50 at all its stations. This new rule will apply to a total of 135 stations. Till now platform tickets were available for Rs 10.
It is worth mentioning that earlier orders were given to keep the temperature of air-conditioned passenger coaches of trains in Ratlam division at 25 degree Celsius. This decision was taken so that passengers do not need blankets. On the orders of the railway, curtains and blankets were removed from the air-conditioned coaches of trains going to Indore station from Sunday. Now passengers are being given a pillow and bed sheet.
