There will be a clash between ‘Jayeshbhai jordar’ and ‘Satyamev Jayate 2’, a change in the release date of many films to avoid clash
Ranveer Singh is going to be seen in the role of a Gujarati man in the film ‘Jayeshbhai Jigar’ soon. This Yash Raj production film will be released on October 2 on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti. Along with this film, ‘Satyamev Jayate 2’ is also going to be released. The clash of both the big films is obviously going to have a huge impact on the box office collections of the films.
Both Ranveer Singh and John Abraham have a huge fan following. While Ranveer’s film ‘Jayeshbhai Jigar’ is going to be a fresh story, ‘Satyamev Jayate 2’ is a sequel to the 2018 hit film Satyamev Jayate. The film ‘Satyamev Jayate’ had a box office collection of Rs 108 crores. Looking at the collection of the last successful film, it can be guessed that the upcoming film can also do a collection around it. On the other hand, Ranveer Singh has also consistently given hit films like ‘Gully Boy’, ‘Simba’ and ‘Padmavat’. In such a situation, the collection may decrease due to both films being released on the same day.
Changes made to the release date of these films to avoid clash
The Farhan Akhtar starrer film ‘Storm’ was also scheduled to release on the same day. But director Ritesh Sidhwani has considered changing the release date of the storm to avoid clash. Now the film will be released on 18 September instead of 2 October. The release date of Vicky Kaushal starrer biographical film ‘Sardar Udham Singh’ was also kept on 2 October but now it has also been changed to 15 January 2021.
