Code of Conduct violation: Non-bailable warrant against former MP Jayaprada, hearing on April 20
The court has issued a non-bailable warrant against former MP Jayaprada for non-attendance during the hearing in violation of the code of conduct. The next hearing of the case will be held on April 20.
In the Lok Sabha elections, Jayaprada was a BJP candidate from Rampur parliamentary seat. A lawsuit was filed against him for violating the code of conduct in Swar Kotwali. The trial of this case is going on in the court of ADJ-6.
The court issued a non-bailable warrant against the former MP for non-attendance during the hearing. The next hearing of the case will be held on April 20. Apart from this, during the Lok Sabha elections, a lawsuit was filed against Jayaprada for violating the code of conduct in Camry.
In this case also, the court has issued a bail warrant against Jayaprada. Jayaprada’s lawyer Mustafa Hussain said that the swar case was not known as the police had not considered it a violation of the code of conduct in advance deliberation. Whatever the court’s order is, it will be followed.
