Crime / woman accuses Ganesh Acharya of forcing her to watch blue film, complains to police
Ganesh Acharya, general secretary and senior choreographer of the Indian Film and Television Choreographers Association, has been accused by a 33-year-old woman of keeping him out of work in the film industry, demanding commissions and watching adult videos. According to ANI reports, the woman has filed a complaint with the Mahila Commission of Maharashtra and Amboli police station.
Acharya accused of constantly harassing Woman
According to a report, the female assistant is a choreographer. He claims that Acharya is constantly harassing him. He has canceled his membership using his post, which has completely stalled his income. The woman’s complaint also states that when Acharya saw her at an event, she asked her fellow choreographers to take her away. The woman claims that she was beaten publicly and abused there.
Saroj Khan’s allegations were denied on Friday
On Friday, Acharya denied the claims of veteran choreographer Saroj Khan, accusing him of exploiting dancers and using his position to ruin the Cine Dancers Association (CDA).
Tanushree Dutta has also been accused of exploitation
In 2018, actress Tanushree Dutta also accused Ganesh Acharya of exploitation along with Nana Patekar. He had complained to the police that the two had physically abused him during the shooting of a song from the film ‘Horn Ok Please’ (2008), which was choreographer Ganesh Acharya. Tanushree said in a conversation, “He is a number one liar and a double-character human being. 10 years ago he was one of those people who were equally involved in the harassment. He never accepted it.”
