Nirbhaya Case: Mukesh Singh and Vinay Sharma’s appeal against their death sentence was dismissed by five-judge bench headed by Justice NV Ramana this afternoon

Mukesh Singh, one of the two convicts in the Nirbhaya case whose last legal appeal — a curative petition — was dismissed by the Supreme Court today, has filed a mercy petition to President Ram Nath Kovind. He and three other convicts in the case are to be hanged at 7 am on January 22.
