Beyonce’s Fans Think She’s Mom Tina’s Twin With Curly Hair At ‘Billboard Women In Music’ — Watch

Look who showed up! Beyonce made a brief, surprise appearance at the 2020 ‘Billboard Women In Music’ event, but it was enough to have fans raving over her gorgeous glam look.

Beyonce was the perfect person to present her proteges, Chloe x Halle, with the Rising Star Award at the 2020 Billboard Women in Music event on Dec. 10. Bey showed up virtually to give a short speech for her girls before announced their honor. “Ladies, I am so, so proud of you,” she said. “You’ve done this with authenticity, with grace, with raw talent. You’ve managed to shine in every room you enter and I’ll always love you.”

The singer filmed her presenter speech herself, and she looked stunning in the short clip. Bey pulled her long, curly hair back into a tight ponytail. Her skin was glowing, but she was wearing minimal makeup, aside from a glossy pink lip. Fans loved her natural look and raved over it on social media. Some fans even pointed out that Bey was becoming a “clone” of her mom, Tina Knowles, with the look!

“Oof, if Beyonce don’t be out here lookin’ like her mama!” someone wrote. “When she does her hair in a certain way, she instantly becomes Ms. Tina!” Someone else added, “Baby Beyonce starting to look like a Tina clone & I’m here for ALL OF IT.” Additionally, a fan with the Instagram name ‘Beyonce for President,’ gushed, “Sis looking more & more like Tina everyday.”

Of course, the moment was really about Chloe x Halle, and they shined so bright as they performed and accepted their honor. Bey actually discovered the girls after seeing cover songs that they had posted on YouTube. She quickly became a mentor to them and wound up helping them get signed to Parkwood Entertainment. They also opened for the singer on various tours to help get more recognition amongst fans.

Now, Chloe x Halle are a superstar act themselves. They scored two Grammy nominations in 2019, and are up for three more in 2021. Their most recent album, Ungodly Hour, came out in June amidst the coronavirus pandemic, and has been praised by critics and fans alike. Beyonce knows a good thing when she hears it!

Google, Billboard Reveal Top 100 Most Hummed Songs of the Year to Assistant

Google collaborated with Billboard to reveal the top 100 songs hummed to Google and Google Assistant. ‘Old Town Road’ by Lil Nas X featuring Billy Ray Cyrus topped this list, followed by ‘Never Gonna Give You Up’ by Rick Astley and ‘Dance Monkey’ by Tones And I. In October this year, Google introduced the ‘hum to search’ feature that lets users hum, sing, or whistle a tune to identify a song. ‘I Hope’ by Gabby Barrett came in fourth, followed by ‘Believer’ by Imagine Dragons.

The ‘hum to search’ feature is available in the Google app on Androidand iOS. You can use the feature via the Google Search widget or Google Assistant. Google’s list of the top hummed songs of 2020 reflects its ‘best confidence’ for recorded music matches based on users’ humming and singing. The recordings that are not associated with a single, specific recording artist were excluded, noted Google.

The rest of the songs in Google’s top ten are: ‘Swing Life Away’ by Machine Gun Kelley, ‘Before You Go’ by Lewis Capaldi, ‘Capitalise off Pain’ by Big $ Stunt, ‘Bang!’ By AJR, and ‘Sing About me, I’m Dying of Thirst’ by Kendrick Lamar.

Google introduced the ‘hum to search’ feature a couple of months ago. It is designed to help users find a song by humming or singing a tune for a few seconds.

Other notable mentions in the top 30 of Google and Billboard’s list are ‘Bad Guy’ by Billie Elish at #12, ‘Dynamite’ by K-pop group BTS featuring at #13, ‘Savage Love (Laxed – Siren Beat)’ by Jawsh 685 x Jasun Derulo that emerged as a popular TikTok song this year at #17, ‘WAP’ by Cardi B featuring Megan Thee Stallion at #22, and ‘Baby Sharp’ by Pinkfong at #25.

Some all-time classics also made it to Google and Billboard’s list of top 100 songs hummed to Google in 2020. ‘All I want for Christmas is You’ by Mariah Carey came in at #73, ‘I Want It That Way’ by Backstreet Boys #77, and ‘Baby’ by Justin Bieber featuring Ludacris at #88. Wrapping up the list at #100 is ‘You Can’t Always Get What You Want’ by The Rolling Stones.

The recent album by the Puerto Rican Bad bunny “The last Tour of the World” became this Sunday the first album entirely in Spanish to top the musical list of Billboard 200 thus making history in music, the organization announced today.

It is the first time in the 64-year history of the list that this milestone has been achieved.

The record of a position in the top positions of an album entirely in Spanish on that list was held by himself Bad bunny, who at the beginning of the year was placed with his album “YHLQMDLG”, in the second position of the list on March 14.

Roxane Bruneau in the Top 10 Billboard in Canada

To say that Roxane Bruneau’s second album was expected is an understatement. Released on November 13, three years later Dysphoria, the album Acrophobia got off to a flying start.

The numbers are impressive. Acrophobia reached the 6e Billboard chart position in Canada. Roxane Bruneau therefore inscribes her name alongside Ariana Grande, Chris Stapleton and even in front of Michael Bublé’s famous Christmas album, which is rather rare for a French-speaking Quebec artist. In Quebec, the album is in first position ahead of Power Up, the most recent effort of the AC / DC group.

On the various streaming and downloading platforms, Acrophobia has accumulated no less than 4.8 million plays.

On iTunes, Roxane Bruneau monopolizes half of the top 10 best-selling songs, with five songs in the charts. The last extract, In my way, as well as’Love me again, respectively occupy the 1er and 2e rank.

Not only does it also occupy the position of the best-selling French-language album on iTunes, but the promotion surrounding the release ofAcrophobia also propelled Dysphoria ranked fourth among best-selling albums.

That’s not all. The music video In my way, which stars France Castel, Mathieu Dufour and Christine Morency, among others, exceeds 377,000 views. When it was released, it was even, for a while, number one in Global Trends on Youtube.

Enrique Iglesias’ emotional message after receiving the Top Latin Artist of All Time award | The NY Journal

The singer Enrique Iglesias He has lived this Wednesday one of the most special nights of his life, at least in the professional field, in the framework of the gala of the Billboard Latin Music Awards, who has paid tribute to his career as one of the biggest stars in Spanish music with the award Top Latin Artist of All Time the most important Latin artist of all time.

This recognition has been even more special if possible when he received it from the hands of his good friend Pitbull, with whom he has recorded some of his greatest hits and has even gone on tour, in front of fellow professionals such as Luis Fonsi or Maluma. Before even taking the stage to collect his award, the performer was moved as his regular collaborator introduced him as one of the few figures in the industry capable of staying at the top of the charts for several consecutive decades.

This is a very special award and the truth is that I have not written anything, so whatever I say, please forgive me if I get confused, “he assured as soon as he stood in front of the microphone, to go on to thank the organization of the event, his usual team, his own Pitbull and especially his followers.

“I want to congratulate all the artists who are here tonight and I also want to say to all my fans: Thank you, for all the support throughout my career. I miss you very much. Hopefully see you soon, “he added before saying goodbye with a” take care, and that the energy is positive.

As a curious detail, it should be noted that Enrique decided to wear one of his inseparable woolen hats for the occasion, which have accompanied him over the years and which he has featured in video clips such as his singles ‘Hero’ or ‘Escape’.

TikTok puts Fleetwood Mac’s Rumours back in Billboard’s top 10

Fleetwood Mac’s Rumours is a top 10 album this week — more than four decades after its release — thanks to a viral TikTok video that’s had everyone vibing along to “Dreams.” Rumours now ranks seventh on the Billboard 200 chart, the publication announced last night, the album’s first appearance in the top 10 since 1978, a year after it debuted.

Rumours’ newfound popularity is thanks to a viral video from Nathan Apodaca, who goes by 420doggface208 on TikTok, that shows him skateboarding down a road and sipping cran-raspberry juice straight from the jug, while “Dreams” plays over top. It’s been viewed more than 60 million times since being posted at the end of September, and it’s even inspired both Mick Fleetwood and Stevie Nicks to sign up for TikTok over the past two weeks. Fleetwood recreated the viral video himself, while Nicks posted a video of herself lacing up roller skates and singing along. They have a combined 35 million views.

Billboard’s chart measures album “units” moved each week in terms of sales, track purchases, and streams. Rumours made it into the top 10 with 33,000 units, nearly 70 percent of which came from streaming. Billboard says it counted 30.6 million streams from the album for the week ending October 15th. Rumours had already been climbing the chart over the past few weeks as the song went viral, though the classic album had been hovering in the 50s even without the boost. “Dreams” itself soared on Spotify, becoming the week’s 20th most popular song.

Rumours’ resurgence is another example of the power TikTok has for musicians. The app sent Lil Nas X to stardom, and since then, other artists have tried — somewhat desperately, at times — to harness its power to give them a top hit. Rumours’ success shows that there’s even room for new audiences to discover a classic.

Chiquibaby ready for ‘Behind the Fame’ and driving the Los Billboard carpet remembers Rashel Díaz | The NY Journal

Chiqui Baby as we all know her fondly, or Stephanie himonidis , his real name has two challenges ahead: the driving and the interviews of the special ‘Behind the Fame’ and The Carpet of Latin Billboard Awards.

Daily drives ‘A new day’She has her own national radio show and every day she prepares to overcome herself, she is clear that the limit will not be set by herself, and that growing up will always be the only option. For this reason, with the generosity that characterizes her, in this exclusive interview, she honors the person who took the lead in these two specials that Telemundo assigned: Rashel Diaz. Look what he said.

– What did you think at that moment when they gave you the news that you would be in charge of both specials?
S.H .: We all want to have projects like this, that challenge you. I think the rugs are super fun, I love them because they fill you with a lot of adrenaline, and it’s like a party to celebrate with all these artists, and it’s the first time that I have to be on the carpet driving because, obviously, I have already touched the ‘VIP Access’, and on several occasions, for various awards, but it is the first time that I am on the carpet so I am very very happy. I’m going to give him all the desire, with the best attitude. The hardest thing is finding the perfect dress. I already have it on!

– How does the dress have to be?
S.H .: The truth is that it has to be, above all, something that makes me look good, but makes me feel comfortable. Of course it has to have a little bit of blin blin, very simple is not my thing, something with a lot of color, that highlights my brown skin.

-As you say, the awards carpets are pure adrenaline, do you prepare before?
S.H .: One of the things I like about doing television is doing things live, I feel that it is natural, another type of energy comes out, and, obviously, I think that when you do something live you have to be prepared, and when I say Prepared is to know all the guests, to know why they are there, and if you have all that information and you learn it, you study it, you are well soaked in that, at the time of the strikes you take it with you. Prepare as much as possible and have fun is the secret.

-‘Behind the Fame ‘is the dream of everyone who loves to interview, like you …
Stephanie Himonidis: I am super honored, I am humbly grateful to Telemundo for believing in me and giving me the opportunity. “Behind the Fame” is a program that has been going on for more than 7 or 8 years with a great interviewer who is my friend Rashel Díaz, and sitting with these stars of these sizes is a very large production. It was a major challenge for me.

Rashel Diaz. Photo: Mezcalent

-What can you tell us?
S.H .: I had to sit down with Pitbull, with Maluma and Carlos Vives, who are 3 completely different artists. Besides Beky G. The truth was incredible. We talked about everything, from their family, how they started, how fame has treated them … With each one I had a conversation very much my style, very different.

Maluma, I did not know him, I had never interviewed him, he had never touched me on a carpet in person, the truth was the interview that I felt a little more nervous, but, I cannot tell you which was the one that most I liked it, but it did impress me. Meeting ‘Papi Juancho’, meeting him, the truth was that it was very interesting.

Maluma. Photo: Mezcalent

For example, all the teachings that Pitbull left me, that someone who comes from below, and says: ‘Not drugs, not alcohol, not gangs, the worst thing that can happen to a human being, is fame’ Imagine that Pitbull tells you! Fame can be the worst thing that can happen to someone, but also the best. They were very deep conversations.

-As you said, a new stage begins, up to now ‘Behind the Fame’ Rashel had done it, have you talked to her, have you asked her for any advice?
S.H .: She told me, ‘take advantage of your moment, make the most of all the opportunities they give you and give it the maximum’… She is a very entrepreneurial woman, and she is someone who has always contributed and guided me in my career, so no I wanted, at the moment they gave me this opportunity, never to fill her place, on the contrary, to do a good role to leave her well for everything she did for us in recent years. Give her a will and she supports me and I am sure she will be proud of me and of what I am going to do.

I want to thank the crew that is working on this show tonight, because they have gone through some insane stuff to make this happen for you guys. I hope everybody’s staying safe at home. ‘There’s power in who you are’: Lizzo used her platform to send a message to viewers

‘Hi. I just want to say, thank you to Billboard, thank you to Atlantic, thank you to Team Lizzo, thank you to everyone who listens to my music and supported me,’ Lizzo said. ‘I just want to say, I’ve been thinking a lot about suppression and the voices that refuse to be suppressed. I wonder, would I be standing here right now if it weren’t for the big Black women who refused to have their voices be suppressed?

‘I just want to say right now, if you’re at home watching this, you are thinking about changing yourself to feel worthy, this is your sign to remain true to who you are. Let me tell you all something – when people try to suppress something, it’s normally because that thing holds power.

‘They’re afraid of your power. There’s power in who you are, there’s power in your voice. So whether it’s through music, protests, or your right to vote, use your power, use your voice, and refuse to be suppressed. Thank you so much to Billboard I love you all god bless you all. Bye!’
