Is Corona infection possible more than once ?

In the capital Delhi, the first case of corona being cured and then corona infected has been reported. The report of a nurse working at the Hindurao Hospital in Northern Corporation confirmed that corona was infected again within one and a half months. Everyone in the hospital is shocked after this case came to light. However, doctors say that after recovery the corona report may have come back positive because the corona virus may be present in the nurse’s body, but it will not harm her because the virus is not activated. Earlier in Kota, a person was confirmed to be corona infected again.

Krishna, a nurse working at Hindurao Hospital, who had returned to work in 21 days, said that she had seen symptoms of corona on May 27 and after that she underwent an RT-PCR test on June 1. On June 4, the report confirmed him to be corona infected. After this she remained in isolation for 21 days. He resumed work in the last week of June after recovering from Corona.

After recovering, the duty engaged in the Corona ward, when

Krishna’s corona warrior nurse Krishna started working back, his duty started in the Corona ward from 28 June. After 14 days of work, employees working in the Corona ward are quarantined for five days and then examined. Krishna got the RT-PCR check again on 16 July and his report came back positive on 18 July.

After having antibodies in the body, the report-positive

nurse Krishna said she had no symptoms but underwent an antibody test after the coronary infection was confirmed again at the RTPCR test. In this investigation, a sufficient amount of antibodies fighting the corona virus have been found in his body. In such a situation, the doctors of the hospital say that there may be a dead corona virus in Krishna’s body, so the RTPCR report has come positive. This virus will be inactive and there will be no harm.

AIIMS expert said

Professor Naval Vikram of AIIMS’s Department of Medicine says that there is no research yet to suggest that a person can get corona infection after recovering. He said that if enough antibodies were found in the body of Hindu Rao’s nurse, then there is no risk of re-infection as long as he has antibodies in his body. He said that the RTPCR report may come up positive because there is still a dead corona virus in his body which has come up while taking the sample. Reports may be positive due to such viruses, but there is no risk of spreading the infection to other people.

Take precautions even after recovering, possible re-infection possible
According to Atul Kakkar, head of the medicine department of Sir Gangaram Hospital, if the person has run out of antibodies, it is possible that he may get corona infection again. However, the risk is less. In such a situation, people should take full precaution even after recovering.
