Ryan Giggs believes his Welsh team have inherited his old Manchester United’s side’s habit of late winners.
Giggs made his name in a trophy-laden career at Old Trafford under Sir Alex Ferguson.
United’s feats contained plenty of dramatic late goals, including the 1999 Champions League final.
Now Giggs own Wales’ side are on a roll in the Nations League after successive late 1-0 wins.
They beat Bulgaria with a brilliant injury-time header from Neco Williams after Kieffer Moore’s 80th minute goal in Finland.
Boss Giggs assessed: “It is a great trait to have. We keep going.
“It has an effect on the opposition if you keep scoring late goals.
“And it gives you belief to keep going until the end which is what we did.
“It was our best move of the game and it came in the last minute.
“You need that desire , quality and fitness.
“I was really proud of the players how they kept going.

“Those experiences of going to the last minute, you can draw upon if you are not playing well and if have to grind results out in the future.”
Wales travel to England next for an October friendly with Giggs insisting his side can produce a shock.
“We have a lot of quality,” he added. “England have shown their quality but we are getting there as well.
“We will go into every game thinking we have a chance.”
Match-winner Williams, 19, was previously eligible for England due to his grandparents but the Liverpool right-back was quick to shutdown any talk of defecting to Gareth Southgate’s side.

Williams said: “England were trying ring my agent a lot and wanting to speak to me.
“But I weren’t have any of it.
“My family are Welsh, I am Welsh and my friends are Welsh.
“For me it was always going to be Wales.
“England will be a great game and the quality we have in this squad we are going to prove to them we are capable of beating them. All the boys are excited and can’t wait for the game.”
