Michelle Keegan unveils new blonde hairdo on return to work after quarantine

Michelle Keegan unveiled her latest hair transformation as she returned to work this week.

The Our Girl actress is best known for her signature long raven locks which she has rarely tinkered with since her Coronation Street days.

But Michelle showed she was ready to embrace a change as she allowed her hairdresser to warm up her look with some honey blonde highlights.

The 33-year-old star showed off her look as she posed in front of a make-up chair as her glam squad set to work in the mystery studio.

Michelle seemed very pleased with how it turned out as she shared a close-up of her freshly lightened hair in a bun and added a love heart as a seal of approval.

“We go again,” wrote Michelle as she teased her project but omitted to give any details.

Earlier this year, Michelle announced she was quitting BBC One drama Our Girl.

It was rumoured Jacqueline Jossa was lined up to replace her as Georgie Lane, but talks with the ex EastEnders star are said to have ‘fallen through.’

After announcing her departure from the army drama, Michelle headed off to Ibiza with her husband Mark Wright.

But their post lockdown escape wasn’t without it’s issues as the married couple were hit with their new quarantine rules.

The couple were forced to remain holed up in their Essex mansion for two weeks following their sun-soaked jaunt.

As they prepared to face half the month indoors, Michelle told fans it was all ‘worth it’ for their fantastic holiday.

Her husband-of-five years Mark, 33, then shared photos of them holed up in the living room in front of their huge television.

“Oh well. looks like I will be doing a whole lot more of this,” he shared.
