Wife’s demand for sex in Gujarat, ‘Sanyasi’ husband beats her
The victim’s wife said that her husband claimed to retire. She said that when I pressed for sex again, her husband left home.

In Ahmedabad city of Gujarat, a husband beaten his wife for demanding sex. The husband claimed that he had adopted ‘sannyas’. Meanwhile, when the husband’s family came to know about this, he also allegedly beat up the victim’s wife. The victim’s wife has filed a case against her husband and in-laws under the Domestic Violence Act at Mahila Police Station (East) on Monday.
In her FIR, the woman, who hails from Danilimda, alleged that she married a young man from Sarkhej on 14 May 2016. Initially her behavior was very good but after the first child was born in 2018, her behavior changed. The complaint states, ‘For the past few months, my husband stopped sex with me. Whenever I asked for it, he would get angry and beat me up. ‘
The wife said that her husband claimed to retire. She said that when I pressed for sex again, her husband left home. The wife said that because of this her in-laws started torturing and beating them. In-laws said that because of that, his son had to leave the house.
The victim’s wife said that her husband had borrowed money and he was running under a lot of pressure. Because of this, her husband also stopped taking care of me and the children. The wife said, “A few months ago when my son got an intestinal infection, my husband did not even pay for the medicine.” The woman has filed a case against the accused husband. The police has not arrested the husband yet.
