Nawazuddin Siddiqui turns 46: Fans wish the actor a happy birthday
Nawazuddin Siddiqui is celebrating his 46th birthday today and his fans have wished him on Twitter.
Nawazuddin Siddiqui is the epitome of the rags to riches story – he made his Bollywood debut in 1999 released Sarfarosh, found his niche with Anurag Kashyap’s Gangs Of Wasseypur series, and today is one of the most revered actors in the industry.
As Nawazuddin Siddiqui turns year older today, fans have showered him with love on Twitter. From photos and videos to little appreciation notes, social media has been abuzz with birthday wishes for Nawaz.

“Happy birthday @Nawazuddin_S kabhi kabhi lagta hein Tumhich Bhagwan ho!!!!#NawazuddinSiddiqui (sic),” a fan wrote, referring to a dialogue mouthed by Nawazuddin as Ganesh Gaitonde in the Netflix series, Sacred Games.
Naming some of Nawazuddin’s best films, a fan wished the actor saying, “Happy birthday @Nawazuddin_S. Thanks for everything! Gangs of Wasseypur, Raman Raghav 2.0 and all good films like that. Nawazuddin Siddiqui recently travelled to Budhana in Uttar Pradesh during the lockdown, after acquiring necessary permissions. The actor, on Monday, tweeted that it was because his mother had anxiety attacks a few days ago, that the family decided to travel to UP.
“Due to the recent loss of my younger sister, my mother who is 71yrs old got anxiety attack twice. We have followed all the guidelines given by the State Government. We are #HomeQuarantined at our hometown Budhana. Please #StaySafe #StayHome (sic),” the Gangs of Wasseypur actor wrote.
Since he travelled during the lockdown, Nawaz was tested for Covid-19. His tests have come back negative and now the actor is in a 14-day home-quarantine as a precautionary measure.
Amid all this, reports of Nawazuddin’s wife Aaliya Siddiqui sending him a notice for divorce have also surfaced. According to PTI, Abhay Sahai, Aaliya’s lawyer said that the notice was sent to Nawaz on May 7 through E-mail and WhatsApp due to the unavailability of speed post during the novel coronavirus pandemic.
The report further suggests that the actor is yet to respond to the notice.
From Bollywood film to web series, Nawazuddin Siddiqui has wowed his audience every time. His best works are the Gangs Of Wasseypur franchise, Black Friday, Sacred Games, Raman Raghav 2.0, Maanjhi: The Mountain Man and Manto, to name a few. Nawaz was also seen in Munna Bhai MBBS, Kick, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Raees, Mom and others.
Nawazuddin was last seen in Debamitra Biswal’s directorial venture Motichoor Chaknachoor in 2019. The film starred Athiya Shetty opposite him. Nawaz is now gearing up for the digital release of upcoming comedy film Ghoomketu, set to premiere on Zee5 on April 22.
