Prakasam, Andhra: Villagersthrash Tantrik who made whole family naked and sexually assaulting minor girl by intoxicating

The family has claimed that the priest had been performing Tantrik rituals on them for over 40 days by making all members get naked. He, later, sexually assaulted the minor by offering her prasadam laced with intoxicants and taking her to a separate room

A priest was tied to a pole and thrashed by villagers for sexually assaulting a minor girl in Ongole city in Andhra Pradesh’s Prakasam district.

The priest was later handed over to the police by the villagers.

He has been arrested on charges of sexually assaulting a minor girl in Ongole. He allegedly assaulted the girl in the pretext of warding off the evil.

The accused priest, Gajjela Vishnu, from Telangana, lured the father of the victim assuring prosperity in his family. The family has claimed that the priest had been performing Tantrik rituals on them for over 40 days by making all members get naked. He, later, sexually assaulted the minor by offering her prasadam laced with intoxicants and taking her to a separate room

The priest had reportedly assaulted the girl for days before a suspicious family member later questioned the priest and approached elders in the village.

He was brought out by villagers, tied to a pole, and thrashed by them. He was later handed over to the police.

A case has been registered against him and police has started an investigation into the matter. The minor girl has been sent for medical examination.
