The Redmi 8A Dual was launched in February soon after the Realme C3 was introduced in the Indian market. The budget smartphone from Xiaomi brand Redmi comes at a starting price of Rs 6,999 and brings the Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 processor to the table. The smartphone packs a 6.22-inch HD+ LCD display with an aspect ratio of 19:9. It packs 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage on the base variant. Infinix launched the S5 Pro last month to take on the Realme C3 and Redmi 8A Dual with features such as a pop-up selfie camera. Starting for Rs 9,999, the Infinix S5 Pro could be a strong competitor with internals that include an octa-core MediaTek Helio P35 SoC paired with up to 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage and a 6.53-inch FHD+ display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. It has a setup of three cameras at the back – a 48-megapixel main sensor, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and a QVGA sensor for low-light photography. Another phone in the sub-Rs 10,000 range is from Realme. Realme’s low-tier phone in the Realme 5 series is the Realme 5i that was launched in January. It is priced at Rs 9,999 for the base variant and comes with specifications such as a 6.52-inch HD+ notched display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 AIE processor, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of onboard storage, and a microSD card slot. Our last month’s list too had the Galaxy M30 because it is still a relevant phone after a year since its launch in India. Its prices have fallen over time, which is why it is there in the list. Now available for Rs 9,685 on Samsung India website, the Galaxy M30 a 6.4-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-U Display with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. For this price, it is the only smartphone with an AMOLED display, which makes the Galaxy M30 worthwhile.
