Sonia Gandhi accuses BJP of spreading virus of hate
new Delhi. Sonia Gandhi has accused the BJP that during the fight with Corona, the BJP is spreading the hate virus. In the meeting, Sonia Gandhi reiterated the demand for corona testing, from the PPE kit to the problems of farmers, laborers and the help of poor families to the extent of seven and a half thousand rupees.
In the meeting of the Congress Working Committee, Congress President Sonia Gandhi has accused the BJP that the BJP is doing communal politics even during Corona. Sonia Gandhi said that when we all should fight against Corona, then the BJP is spreading the virus of communal bias and hatred which is worrying. This is causing great harm to social harmony. We must make up for this loss.
In her speech through video conferencing, Sonia surrounded the central government raising the issue of low number of testing and lack of testing kits, PPE kits. He said that the number of testing is still low. The supply of testing kits and PPE kits is not sufficient and their quality is also not good.
Talking about the loss of economy from Corona, the Congress President demanded the government to provide financial assistance of minimum seven and a half thousand rupees to the poor. Sonia Gandhi said that the pace of the epidemic is increasing. 120 million jobs have been lost in the first phase of lockdown. Trade, industry has stalled and the livelihood of crores of people has been destroyed. Unemployment is going to increase further. Farmers, agricultural laborers, migrant laborers, those working in the unorganized sector are facing difficult conditions. In such a situation, the government should provide financial assistance of Rs 7,500 to each family to overcome this crisis.
Accusing the central government of not paying attention to the suggestions, Sonia Gandhi said that, I gave support and suggestions to the government but unfortunately they were implemented very poorly. The government lacks compassion, generosity and readiness.
In the Congress Working Committee meeting, Chief Ministers of Congress-ruled states raised the issue of lack of funds and lack of testing kits from the Center. Former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh said that coordination between the Center and the state is the mantra of success in the fight against Corona.
