On getting the information, the mother of the deceased went to the Kakrauli police station and filed a case against the murdered father. The police arrested the father and his fellow tantric and recovered the body at the spot of both. The father says that there was trouble in the house and the daughter did not come to him, so he had committed the murder at the behest of the tantrik.

CO Bhopa Ram Mohan Sharma said that Wajid son Khurshed, a resident of village Sikanderpur of Meerapur police station area, along with his wife Rihanna and 5 children, works as a stone pelter at Khakheda in Kakrauli police station area.

Irfan Putra Rafiq, a resident of Rasidnagar in Meerut, is also a laborer on the kiln, who is also a tantric. On Sunday night, Wajid murdered his two-and-a-half-year-old youngest daughter Taranum by strangulating her and later cutting her neck with a shovel. After this, the dead body was pressed into the ground near the same kiln. On receiving information about the daughter’s murder late at night, Rihanna reached the Kakrauli police station and filed a case against her husband and her partner Irfan, informing the police about the incident.

The CO said that the Kakroli police took quick action and arrested the killer father Wajid and Tantrik Irfan and recovered the dead body of the girl buried in the ground on the spot of both of them and sent them for postmortem. According to the CO, during the interrogation, Wajid said that there was trouble in the house and the youngest daughter Taranum did not come to him. When told about this, Tantric Irfan had asked to do this work that by sacrificing everything will be alright. At the behest of him, Khurshed carried out this incident. CO Bhopa said that both are being questioned.
