Everestor Bhavna, resident of Chhindwara in Madhya Pradesh, hoisted the tricolor and celebrated Holi by reaching Mount Kosciusko, the highest peak of the continent of Australia. Earlier, he celebrated Diwali on Kilimanjaro, the highest peak of the continent of Africa.
“I am very fortunate and proud of myself that I have celebrated two of India’s biggest festivals on the peaks of the mountains,” said Bhavna. Earlier on November 27, 2019, I completed the summit of Kilimanjaro, the highest peak of the continent of Africa on the occasion of Diwali. Bhavna reached Australia on 6 March and began her climb to Mount Kosciusko. Bhavana completed the summit on the day of Holi (10 March). He also displayed a banner on the summit promoting Madhya Pradesh tourism and adventure sports there. She also met the Indian Ambassador there. Bhavana will return to Bhopal on 12 March.
Bhavna conquered Everest in May
Bhavna is the first woman from Madhya Pradesh to climb Mount Everest. He did this feat on May 22, 2019. Bhavana attended the climbing summit of Mount Akonkagua, South America on 31 December. However, due to bad weather, she had returned from a height of 6500 meters. She will complete this summit next year. Its height is 6962 meters. Bhavana climbed 6593 meters in August 2018 to summit Mount Manirang (Himachal Pradesh). At the same time, in 2017 Mount DKD-2 (5670 m) Ghadwal Summit was completed.
