‘What a man’ Kunal Kohli, Pooja Bhatt hail Javed Akhtar’s comment on Pakistan over 26/11 Mumbai attacks
Filmmaker Kunal Kohli and Pooja Bhatt backed Javed Akhtar’s remarks at a literary festival in Lahore, Pakistan. The lyricist slammed Pakistan for the 26/11 attacks in Mumbai.

Javed Akhtar was among the other keynote speakers in Lahore, Pakistan, for a festival organised in the memory of the renowned Urdu poet Faiz Ahmed Faiz. During his appearance at the festival, the veteran lyricist slammed Pakistan for the 26/11 attacks in Mumbai, which was well-received by the audience.

Apart from Pooja, filmmaker Kunal Kohli also took to his Instagram story and saluted Javed Akhtar for his guts for showing the mirror. “No one has had the guts to do this in Pakistan. What a man! Javed Akhtar (sic),” he wrote along with the video of the lyricist from the event.
HOW DID PAK AUDIENCE REACT TO JAVED AKHTAR’S 26/11 REMARK?
Javed Akhtar’s remarks have now been receiving appreciation from his fellow colleagues and other artists all across the country. In a new interview, he said that his comment about the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks was well-received in Pakistan. He also said that many people in Pakistan ‘admire India’, and want the two neighbours to ‘have a relationship’.
