Phil Collins' reunion with ex ended in bitter feud, eviction & toy boy marriage

Phil Collins seemed to be living every romantic’s dream when he got back together with his ex-wife Orianne Cevey eight years after their divorce.

However, he’s now celebrating his 70th birthday today as a single man once again after their relationship crumbled for a second time.

They married in 1999 and they were divorced in 2008, but the former couple – who have two sons together – gave decided to give their love another shot back in 2016.

Orianne moved into the Genesis star’s mansion in Miami and it looked like true love had triumphed over divorce.

However, the romantic reunion ended in a shambles with Phil having Orianne, 46, evicted from the Miami mansion along with the new husband she married last year.

Phil met Swiss beauty Orianne on tour in the 1990s. She was working as his translator and their professional friendship blossomed into love.

They married in 1999 and moved into a mansion Switzerland, welcoming two sons together, Nicholas, now 19, and Matthew, 15.

The relationship broke down and they divorced in 2008, with the musician handing her a hefty £25million divorce settlement.

After the divorce, she went on to marry Charles Mejjati, but divorced him in 2016 when she revived her relationship with Phil.

The pair had remained close after their split, and Phil was there for her when she was recovering from surgery on a slipped disk in her neck.

Spending time together again convinced the former couple to give their relationship another shot, and Orianne moved in with him in Miami along with their two boys.

Confirming it was the right decision back in 2017, the brunette beauty said: “Our separation was the wrong decision.

“I now call Phil my husband again. We are so close that it does not actually make a difference if we are married or not.

“We were always very close, because of the children. Just last year I realised that he is indeed the man of my life.”

She added to the Mail on Sunday: “We realised we missed each other. We made a mistake and we’ve fixed it.”

However, things started to go wrong last year and relationship fell apart once again.

She was said to have been still living at the Miami mansion with her new husband, when Phil applied for a court order in November asking them to leave.

A court in Florida then gave her until January 21 to vacate the property, with removal trucks being spotted outside earlier this month suggesting she had agreed to leave.

She has since put together an auction of her belongings set to be held by Kodner Galleries, is on February 3 with a representative for the company telling PageSix is “downsizing”.

They said: “She is moving to a smaller home and getting rid of some of her clothing and jewellery that she no longer wears… I mean, after all, she does have 5,000 pairs of shoes alone and only two feet. She can’t wear them all!

“Orianne found organizing the move very cathartic and went very Marie Kondo and got rid of a number of items that no longer sparked joy for her.”

The £29.3million six-bedroom house was placed back on the market and reports suggest a sale is now being negotiated.
