Helen Flanagan radiates with eight-month bump while admitting 'mum guilt'
Helen Flanagan is looking full of the joys of spring as she shows off her eight month baby bump but she has admitted feelings of being “overwhelmed”.
The 30-year-old Coronation Street actress is entering the final weeks of her pregnancy and while she is looking radiant in the winter sun, she has said that lockdown has given her “mummy guilt” as she parents her two young daughters.
Helen shared some stunning snaps on Instagram on Wednesday in she showed off her burgeoning bump in a grey hoodie and black joggers, as she went for a winter walk.
While it all seemed idyllic, Helen was candid about her feelings so late into her pregnancy, in a lengthy caption to accompany the pics.
The actress wrote: “I turned eight months yesterday. Felt tired today.
“I saw my midwife yesterday and have been told I have low iron which kind of makes sense as I just want to fall asleep now during the day but obviously I can’t with homeschooling and trying to do my best with Delilah.
“Baby is head down now though. Found today not easy, I hate it if I shout at Matilda because I’m trying for her to do some school work.”
Helen continued: “Delilah had quite a few tantrums. I felt bad that I let them watch a Disney film just to have some peace and didn’t take them to the park but I didn’t have the energy for Delilahs tantrums about wearing a coat.
“Sometimes I feel a bit overwhelmed that I’m having another in less than eight weeks but this situation that we are all in at the moment is not normal life and it will pass.”
Helen continued to say that she is now getting organised for her new arrival: “I made a list of thing I wanted to do before the baby arrived, mostly about organising etc but when I put perspective on it it’s not really important.
“I took this picture the other day… this was not me today.”
Helen is due in March, which will be her third child with fiancé Scott Sinclair.
She also opened up recently about feeling “mummy guilt” as she has had to focus so much attention on five-year-old Matilda because of homeschooling.
Helen shared a loving photo of her with youngest daughter Delilah before sharing how she was struggling to believe she will soon not be the youngest any more.
Helen wrote: “Can’t believe my little Delilah pops isn’t going to be the baby of the family anymore.
“Had mummy guilt with Delilah recently, feel like I’m having to give Matilda so much attention with homeschooling and catching up and I really don’t want Delilah to feel pushed out before the baby arrives.
“I can’t really put it into words but has any other mummy’s felt a bit emotional about their youngest while pregnant? Love my curly haired green eyed wild one so very much✨.” (sic)
