Myleene Klass scoffs burrito in bath after becoming first to be booted off DOI

Myleene Klass is enjoying some down time following her shock exit from Dancing On Ice.

The singer turned TV star, 42, and her skating partner Lukasz Rozycki, were both booted from the ITV competition over the weekend, after a tense skate off with Lady Leshurr.

The former Hear’Say star and Lady Leshurr were both in the bottom two from their respective weeks, and they went head-to-head on Sunday’s show.

Judges John Barrowman, Ashley Banjo, Jayne Torvill, and Christopher Dean gave their verdict and chose who they wanted to keep in the competition, and the four judges all chose Lady Leshurr and her skating partner Brendyn Hadfield.

Despite her sadness about leaving the show so soon, Myleene has revealed that she’s enjoying her time away from the ice.

Taking to Instagram on Monday, she shared a snap of herself enjoying a luxurious bath – complete with a delicious burrito.

“Resting my bones on Doctors orders…with a Burrito in the Bath!!!” she penned before reflecting on her Dancing On Ice stint in the lengthy caption.

Myleene went on: “The first day not on the ice in forever. I wanted to thank the @dancingonice cast and crew.

“The sacrifices made, people living apart from their loved ones, the virtual hugging and support every time one of us hit the ice, the online distanced physio sessions, first aiders by our sides, the catering at a distance.

“The sanitised mic packs left on the side of the rinks, the labelling of everything, glam teams in bubbles, backstage mapped out like a military map, the judges and hosts zigzagging their way to us, even an actual 2m stick to ensure we danced at a distance.

“The miracle isn’t what’s happening on the ice but actually off it! I have a newfound respect for all ice dancers and choreographers. It’s infinitely hard yet infinitely fun.

“A special thank you to MY team in production for getting me to where I need to be, always! Will be cheering you all on till the end, cast and crew, and again, thank you,” she finished off the emotional post.

When she found out she had lost her place in the competition on Sunday night, Myleene said: “I couldn’t have done it without Lukasz, without my family, without my friends watching my videos.

“I had never skated before; I’ve got a skill I learned in lockdown – super handy! When the rinks open again, I will be there.

“I feel really chuffed; this is the most relaxed I’ve been the whole competition.”
