A mum-of-two has shared her simple recipe for a bathroom spray you can use on your sinks, baths and showers, and claims it’s the ‘only bathroom spray you’ll ever need’.
Chantel Mila, from Melbourne, said if you want a ‘sparkling bathroom’, you simply need to mix together three ingredients inside a spray bottle, before spraying your bathroom down, leaving it to absorb for 10 minutes and wiping clean.
‘This DIY bathroom spray does the hard work for you,’ Chantel posted on TikTok alongside a simple how-to.

Chantel Mila, from Melbourne, said if you want a ‘sparkling bathroom’, you simply need to mix together three ingredients inside a spray bottle, before spraying your bathroom down, leaving it to absorb for 10 minutes and wiping clean (finished results pictured)
The mum recommends you mix one cup of warm white vinegar with two tablespoons of dish soap and four drops of tea tree oil together in a spray bottle.
Warming your white vinegar first helps it to mix easier with the detergent, Chantel said, and she just puts hers in the microwave for a ‘few seconds’ to ensure it’s warm enough.
Spray the mixture all over the bathroom including the shower screens and leave it for 10 minutes.
‘The warm white vinegar is a natural odour eliminator and stain remover, the dish soap cuts through grime and soap scum and the tea tree oil is a natural way to kill mould spores,’ Chantel said.

How to use Chantel’s bathroom spray
INGREDIENTS

One cup of warm white vinegar
Two tablespoons of dish soap
Four drops of tea tree oil
METHOD
1. Warm up the white vinegar in the microwave for a few seconds as this helps it to mix easier with the detergent.
2. Mix all of your ingredients together in a spray bottle and shake it.
3. Spray your entire bathroom, including bath, shower screen and sink.
4. Let the mixture absorb for 10 minutes.
5. Wipe and rinse all surfaces clear.

Once you have left the mix on your bathroom for 10 minutes, she said you simply need to ‘wipe and rinse every surface down’.
‘Hello sparkling bathroom!’ Chantel wrote, alongside a photo of how clean her bathroom looks after doing the trick.
She added that she uses a spray bottle and labels from Pretty Little Designs.
More than 30,000 people who saw the clip were impressed and said they will definitely be making their own cleaning sprays.

Chantel has gained a huge following on TikTok in recent months, thanks to her cleaning tips and tricks and simple-to-follow recipe videos.

To get the best pillows, Chantel recommends that you wash your pillows every three to six months in the washing machine in liquid detergent.
Add eucalyptus oil to the mix in order to get rid of dust mites.
Chantel said she hangs her pillows out until they are ‘nearly dry’ and then puts them in the dryer with a tennis ball in a sock.
Chantel said you should do this for five minutes, as the tennis ball helps to ‘fluff the pillow and avoid bunching’.
‘It’s important to follow the care instructions of your individual pillows, but this works with most,’ Chantel said.
