YouTuber and Nickelodeon star JoJo Siwa comes out as gay in incredible way
JoJo Siwa came out at gay in the most incredible way.
The Nickelodeon and YouTube star, 17, took to Twitter to share a photograph of herself in a printed T-shirt that says “Best. Gay. Cousin. Ever.”
Wearing one of her iconic bejewelled JoJo Bows in her signature high ponytail, the singer and dancer captioned her picture: “My cousin got me a new shirt”
Her simple yet strong statement was a big hit with her fans.
Perez Hilton labelled her a “Gay icon!!!!”
“Proud of you,” one fan told her.
“YES YES YES YES YES!!,” another posted.
While one told her: my “5 year old just run into my work study screaming, “MOMMY MOMMY JOJO IS GAY I COULDN’T BE HAPPIER TO KNOW MY IDOL JUST CAME OUT!” What?? I’m literally crying tears of joy my little girl is so accepting and tolerating of different people”
Yesterday, the star had posted a video of herself mouthing along to Lady Gaga’s Born This Way, lipsyncing the lyrics: “No matter gay, straight, or bi, lesbian, transgendered life, I’m on the right track baby, I was born to survive.”
JoJo is a huge Lady Gaga fan and has even publicly reached out to the singer in the hopes of collaborating with her.
Back in August, she tweeted: “@ladygaga I wanna film a YouTube video with you!!! Message me!!”
JoJo is a huge YouTube star with a whopping 12.1 million subscribers and her videos regularly attract millions of views.

She posts music videos, vlogs and lots of funny offerings for her fans.
The star, whose real name is Joelle Joanie Siwa, appeared on two series of Dance Moms with her mother Jessalynn and has starred in a string of shows on Nickelodeon.
She once appeared on an episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians when Kim took her daughter North, who is a huge JoJo fan, to her house to record a YouTube video with her.
JoJo appeared in movie Blurt! and provided some of the voices on The Angry Birds Movie 2.
She’s released a string of gold and platinum singles as well as a number of books.
At the age of 16, she became the youngest person to appear on The Masked Singer in the US when she took part in the third season as T-Rex.
