Lily Allen's ex-husband Sam Cooper engaged to aristocrat India Windsor-Clive
Lily Allen ‘s ex-husband Sam Cooper has revealed that he’s engaged to his aristocrat girlfriend India Windsor-Clive.
Sam, 43, previously tied the knot with singer Lily in 2011, but the pair’s romance crumbled in 2018.
They now co-parent their two daughters Ethel, nine, and seven-year-old Marnie.
Announcing the exciting news on Instagram, Sam revealed to fans that he finally popped the all-important question to India, 32, two years after splitting from Lily.
Branding himself “an extraordinarily lucky man”, Sam gushed over his new fiancée in a heartwarming post on social media.
“She is beautiful, wonderful, magical in every way… and she said yes!!!! An extraordinarily lucky man I am. Wow,” he wrote alongside the snap of the pair.
India, daughter of the Earl of Plymouth, couldn’t help but share the news on her own Instagram account just minutes later.
Sharing several snaps of the loved-up couple, the descendant of the 18th Century’s Clive of India wrote: “We’re getting married! Can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with this special man.”
Sam’s ex Lily last year tied the knot with Stranger Things star David Harbour, 45, in a spontaneous Las Vegas wedding.
Lily and David said their vows in style after getting hitched at a Vegas ceremony officiated by an Elvis impersonator.
The pair enjoyed a low-key ceremony that included saying “I do” at the iconic Graceland Wedding Chapel before tucking into a burger from In N Out.
Lily and David first went public with their romance in October 2019 when they were pictured together at a New York Knicks game.
David has since moved in with Lily and her daughters.
Lily previously told Loose Women that she and Sam are “very friendly” with each other since the split.
the pair have an unconventional custody agreement, where they take their daughters for alternative weeks at a time.
“Me and my ex-husband share custody, a week on and a week off, which is useful for my work, when he’s got them, I can do that,’ she said in 2018.
