Michelle Keegan and dogs join Mark Wright as she sits on radio studio floor
Mark Wright wanted company at work.
The Heart Radio DJ decided to bring wife Michelle Keegan and their two dogs along to work with him as they sat in on his show.
Chihuahua Pip curled up on Mark’s lap as he spoke to listeners over the airwaves.
Sharing a snap of the pooch in his lap, he reasoned: “She wanted to come to work with me!! How could I say no?”
He also snapped a typically stylish Michelle sat on the floor, sipping a drink and browsing through her phone, joined by curious Dachsund Phoebe.
“Bring the gang to work day!” Mark enthused.
During Mark’s Thursday show, he received a call from close mate Olly Murs, who refused to rule out the possibility that he’s Robin on The Masked Singer.
He even put the phone down on Mark when pressed about the rumours.
And while Mark is generally a happy-go-lucky guy with a positive outlook, he did use his platform recently to urge listeners to stick to Covid regulations as a number of his family members battle the bug.
“My father was suffering in hospital and we worried for his life for two weeks, he’s now home, he’s not completely better, he knows that and we know it,” emotional Mark shared.
“My other uncle is in hospital right now, receiving oxygen, and their other brother, my uncle Eddie who I love dearly is currently in a coma in the ICU.”
He added: “I want my life back. I want my family to be well again. I don’t want my family to have to worry anymore. I don’t want you to worry anymore.
“If you want to get your life back, the only way this will happen is if we obey by the government rules.
“Now last time when this happened, last year’s lockdown, I saw such a difference.”
Mark went on: “Do you want to see your family members go through what I’m seeing right now?
“I understand if it hasn’t affected your family like it has affected mine, bloodlines are different, I don’t know the science of it, but what I do know is that my father, my dad was suffering in hospital and we worried for his life for two weeks, he’s now home, he’s not completely better, he knows that and we know it.”
