President Donald trump he wanted to leave with “fanfare” using the Armed Forces, but unfortunately it will not be like that.

According to a CNN report, the president wanted several farewell events, amid the disappointment and fury caused by the impeachment process approved by the House last week.

“(He wants) a military-style farewell and a crowd of supporters,” said a consulted source. The plan was an event at the White House, Joint Base Andrews, or Palm Beach International Airport.

However, the Pentagon rejected the request for a special event of the Armed Forces to the president, a source confirmed to the portal Defense one.

“It’s a shame, but not a surprise. Trump will leave office in disgrace, a week after the House voted a second time in favor of his impeachment, “the report said.

The reports recall that the president remains in the eye of the hurricane for his speech at a rally on January 6 that would have incited his followers, who later invaded the Capitol, a fact criticized even by the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

President Trump has been enthusiastic about military parades since he came to France as a guest, even asking the Pentagon to organize a similar event, which was achieved less spectacularly than in other countries that boast their Armed Forces.
