“The hour is serious at the Maisonneuve-Rosemont Hospital and at the Santa Cabrini Hospital. The member for Rosemont is asking the Legault government to relieve congestion in these two establishments by distributing some of the patients to other hospitals in Montreal.
Mr. Marissal thus calls on the Minister of Health Christian Dubé to send a directive in this direction to transfer patients infected with COVID-19 and urgent cases to establishments with better adapted infrastructures.
“It is not normal that the Maisonneuve-Rosemont Hospital, which is in a pitiful state of disrepair, welcomes so many patients with COVID-19”, thundered the solidarity deputy.
“François Legault must commit to launching urgently the construction of a hospital center worthy of the name for the population of the east of the city,” he added.
