Two Capitol Police Officers Suspended For Their Behavior During The Assault | The State

Two Capitol Police officers were suspended for their behavior during the assault by Donald Trump supporters on January 6.

One of the sanctioned police officers is the one who agreed to take a selfie with one of the insurgents. The other is the one who was appointed to wear a “Make America Great Again” cap before directing the assailants inside the building. The latter was denounced by the congressmen Tim Ryan from Ohio.

According to CNN, the authorities are investigating 10 other police officers for their performance during the attack on the legislative palace.

Democratic congressmen and media personalities questioned the attitude of certain members of the police force.

Secret Service agent investigated

Meanwhile, reporter Matea Gold, from the Washington Post, reported that a Secret Service agent is under investigation for Facebook comments. According to the information, the woman accused legislators who confirmed Joe Biden as president of treason and expressed support for the robbers on the Capitol.
