Laura Anderson forced to turn off comments after being trolled over Dubai post
Laura Anderson has been forced to turn off comments on her latest Instagram offering.
The star, a fan favourite of 2018’s Love Island, has been posting some of her experiences in Dubai – a trip she made completely legally.
Despite that fact, Laura’s still been targeted by keyboard warriors attacking her over the trip.
Reality star and celebs have headed to Dubai en masse in recent months, and face a barrage of online abuse from some of their bitter followers.
Speaking to fans in a video, Laura told: “Sorry gang, just had to turn off my comments then, got a bit overwhelmed.
“You know I usually love chatting in the comments, even if it’s like debating, but sometimes I think it’s really hard to get your point across when so many people are feeling so emotional and frustrated about a topic that’s massively affecting the world right now.
“I love to try and get my point of view out there, but I’m never going to be able to fix anything or change everyone’s view. I have a lot to say, and would never usually delete comments but I’m trying to create a positive place on the platform at the minute.
“So moving forward I just want to know if you guys would prefer me not to post until I get home.
“Because I don’t want to make this situation worse for anyone and I don’t expect anyone, and I don’t expect anyone to understand my situation, my point of view, because it takes so long to even explain it.
“Just let me know what you prefer.”
Names like Chloe Ferry, Abbey Clancy and Peter Crouch, and Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury have all been in Dubai at some point in recent months.
