Ireland Baldwin finds peace in nature after stepmother Hilaria Baldwin's Spanish heritage scandal
She was embroiled in her stepmother Hilaria Baldwin’s controversy over her alleged fake Spanish origins late last year.
But Ireland Baldwin got away from it all and took some time out for herself in a series of relaxing nature photos she posted to her Instagram account on Friday.
The 25-year-old model appeared to still be in enjoying the beautiful landscapes of Oregon after relocating in the wake of a violent mugging in August in Los Angeles.
Time out: Ireland Baldwin, 25, did her best to ‘Find peace’ in recent photos from her time in Oregon as she avoid the controversy about her stepmother Hilaria Baldwin’s fake Spanish roots
Ireland shared a single closeup photo of her face as she practiced her pout.
She wore a black fleece jacket featuring the logo for the camera lens company Panavision and had her dyed-blond hair messily draped over her shoulders.
‘Find peace,’ she captioned the serene nature photos.
One image showed a muddy bay with a single park bench overlooking it on a green hill.

The day before, Ireland raged on Instagram as she shared a photo of an armed pro-Trump mob storming into the Capitol Building in Washington, DC.
‘Hard to even wrap my brain around this madness. Terrorism. People who have nothing to fight for. Breaking windows and causing destruction for Donald Trump. People who rioted not for change… but for Donald F***ing Trump.’
She was wrapped up in the controversy surrounding her stepmother Hilaria Baldwin’s fake Spanish heritage in late December, after some of the yoga instructor’s followers noticed that her pseudo-Spanish accent seemed to have disappeared in some of her videos.
Friends from her early days then confirmed that she was born in Boston and had lived there most of her life.
Prior to that, she was believed to have been born on the Spanish island of Mallorca.
‘I think it is her business’: Ireland distanced herself from her stepmother Hilaria Baldwin’s heritage controversy on December 29 while reiterating her love for her; seen with Alec and Hilaria in 2015
Ireland wrote on December 29 that she was staying out of her stepmother’s business while reiterating her love for her.
Around the same time, she shared a message to her Insta Stories from a friend who had corrected her after she referred to Hilaria by the term ‘Latinx.’
The friend corrected her, explaining that the term only applies to people from Latin America, whereas Hispanic could apply to anyone from Spain or from a Spanish-speaking country.
Ireland didn’t seem to mind the correction and was happy about its relaxed tone.
‘Really appreciate Instagram friends who reach out and correct me and give me opportunities to learn. I am her to listen!’ she wrote over a screenshot of the message.
‘I am here to listen!’ She sounded grateful after sharing a friends message correcting her on the use of ‘Latinx,’ which describes people from Latin America, versus ‘Hispanic,’ which refers to people from Spain or Spanish-speaking countries
