Kylie Jenner removes pals like Sofia Richie in Instagram unfollowing spree
Kylie Jenner has purged her Instagram list.
Make-up mogul Kylie, one of the most followed celebs on the site, now has only follows 28 accounts herself.
In a sweeping unfollowing spree, Kylie removed names like Sofia Richie, Fai Khadra, Rosalía, Harry Hudson, Ariel Tejada, Victoria Villarroel and Yris Palmer.
Much of her remaining list is made up of the Kardashian-Jenner clan’s individual accounts, including sister Kendall, dad Caitlyn and mum Kris.
One notable account which survived the cut back is that of Anastasia Karanikolaou, Kylie’s BFF.
She is also known to be close with Sofia, who had until recently been dating Kylie’s sister Kourtney’s ex Scott Disick – who Kylie still follows.
An insider claimed last year that “Kylie makes a point to stay out of Scott and Sofia’s relationship because she loves both of them and doesn’t want to get involved whatsoever.”
Scott is now loved up with Amelia Hamlin, daughter of veteran Hollywood actor Harry Hamlin.
Meanwhile, Kylie’s follower count sits at a cool 208 million, ranking her as the fifth most followed account of 2020.
And she took the crown for last year’s highest paid celeb, her earnings totalling more than the rest of the top five combined.
Forbes reported that she netted $540 million (£403 million) pre-tax this year.
She was trailed in second by brother-in-law Kanye West, Roger Federer, Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.
And despite making her impressive earnings, Kylie’s business ventures recently ran into controversy over the launch of her own brand of hand sanitiser.
Some alleged that Kylie was “profiting from the pandemic”, while others defended her and pointed out hand sanitiser is needed.
Meanwhile, her family has been in the spotlight over the last week as speculation mounts about the future of Kim and Kanye’s marriage.
A source had claimed that the showbiz super couple are “done”, but neither has yet spoken out on the rumours.
