Donald Trump confirmed that he will not attend the inauguration of President-elect Joe Biden, on January 20, whose electoral triumph he does not recognize.
The announcement was made by the current president on his Twitter account a few minutes ago, without giving details. If he kept his word, it would be a unprecedented rudeness, for only assassinated presidents have not attended the handover ceremony in modern US history.
