Pregnant Hilary Duff rushed to hospital with infection and blames 'Covid tests'
Hilary Duff has spoken out about the moment she was hospitalised with an eye infection, blaming Covid testing at work for it.
The 33-year-old actress is expecting her third child and has shared with fans some of the intimate details from her Christmastime.
Hilary said that her social media channels had been quiet during the festivities because she had been rushed to hospital with the infection.
The former Disney star shared a number of photos of her family Christmas as well as a snap of her at the entrance to the emergency room at hospital.
It has not been said by officials that eye infections could be side effect of regular testing for coronavirus, but Hilary has said that it was her regular “tests at work” that caused her problems.
She captioned the snap on Instagram : “Took a little trip to the emergency room.I got an eye infection from all the COVID tests at work.”
The actress said that this was typical for “2020 and all” but had some good news that it was treatable with “antibiotics” and that her “eye is fine” now.
One of the photos that Hilary shared was of her family in matching pyjamas, as husband Koma, 33, and daughter Banks, two, posed for the camera.
She wrote: “We went to Boston for Christmas and we all wore this for basically two days straight.”
Hilary was also forced to quarantine in November after being exposed to Covid as she expects her second child with Matthew, after having a son with ex Mike Comrie.
