Saira Khan hints she's been inundated with job offers since quitting Loose Women
Saira Khan’s future is looking bright after the former Loose Women star quit her role on the daytime show over the weekend.
The 50-year-old TV regular decided it was time to leave the ITV series after spending five years on the panel, making her announcement after taking inspiration from co-star Andrea McLean, who told fans she was leaving the show in recent months.
Fortunately, Saira says she has been flooded with plenty of job offers since she stepped down from the panel alongside her fellow co-stars.
Taking to her Instagram Story during a live workout with her followers on Monday, Saira hinted that she has moved onto something new already.
She explained: “It was time to go after five years on Loose Women, and you know when you just know it’s the right time to take that plunge and focus on other things looking for new adventures.
“You just have to do it, you can’t think ahead what if, what maybe. Believe in yourself, believe in your ability, believe in your own karma you created.”
She urged her fans to be real, adding: “Be honest, be authentic, you have to take your time.”
“I’ve done five years on Loose Women – I had a great time but it is time to move on”, Saira continued, adding that the reason she changed her mind is down to reflecting on her life at 50 and spending time with her family.
She concluded: “All those things have really come together, you have to jump and make things happen.”
After quitting the show, Saira wrote in her column for The Mirror, the pandemic “certainly made me assess my priorities, values and how I want to move forward with my life.”
It was a difficult decision for the TV star but she said she wants to focus on pursuing other projects.
This includes turning her attention to her own skincare business Saira Skin.
She has since inspired others who weren’t getting satisfaction from their jobs to try something new.
She explained: “It was a difficult decision, but when you feel there is nothing left to share on a show that is all about sharing, it’s time to bow out.
“I think I’ve shown everyone I’m an opinionated, strong woman, but now I want to focus on pursuing other media projects, running my skincare business, Saira Skin, and developing my love for wellness.
“Others too have found that Covid has given them the kick they needed to quit jobs that don’t bring them satisfaction, and to try something new.”
Saira shot to fame as a contestant on The Apprentice.
She’s built up a high-flying presenting career on TV in the entertainment spheres.
