Josefina Pérez De La Rosa died after being shot several times in the stomach and chest on a street, two blocks from her home in Queens (NYC).
The 37-year-old victim was shot around 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, off 32-17 97th St. in East Elmhurst. She was rushed to Elmhurst Hospital, where she died, she reported New York Post.
They shot him four times one in the chest, two in the stomach and one in the right pelvis, according to police sources. The attacker fled after the shooting and no arrests have been announced.
A witness told police that he heard a woman screaming for help and saw a gunman shoot her, according to sources. It is unclear if the victim, who left two orphaned children, he knew his attacker.
