CNN's Don Lemon blows up at Republican leaders for letting Trump 'feed them BS'

CNN’s Don Lemon blows up at Republicans who have been ‘feeding’ Trump supporters ‘the BS’ about claims of election fraud

  • Don Lemon couldn’t contain his anger on Monday night while speaking with Chris Cuomo about the continued case being made for election fraud
  • In a rally Monday night, Trump continued to falsely claim victory in Georgia
  • Lemon said that ‘karma’ was coming back around on Republicans
  • He also claimed Trump wouldn’t let another Republican be president

On the heels of another controversial Donald Trump rally on Monday night, CNN’s Don Lemon is growing more irate.

Lemon took aim at Republican leaders who are parroting Trump’s baseless election fraud claims, while failing to apply the same logic behind those claims to their own successful electoral races.

‘Why do they believe that? Because you have been telling them that,’ Lemon said about people not trusting the election results based off those claims.

‘Of course, they’re going to believe it. If you would stop telling them that and start telling them the truth, then maybe they would believe the truth, that the election was not stolen and it was a clean election, according to everyone who has investigated, most of them Republicans,’ Lemon continued.

‘So stop saying that we must respect Trump supporters who believe bullsh*t because it is bullsh*t that you have been feeding them! The president and you have been feeding them the BS.’

‘And now that they believe it, all of a sudden, again, another self-fulfilling prophecy and feedback loop.’

In regards to Republican leaders, Lemon also said, ‘Karma is a you-know-what.’

He also said Republican leaders would be ‘pissed off’ if Democrats were pulling similar maneuvers to what Republicans are doing now.

In response, Chris Cuomo said, ‘I hope it goes bad’ in regards to the Electoral College counting process set to begin on Wednesday so that voters will remember who stood up for what was right and who didn’t.

Lemon concluded the segment by saying Trump wouldn’t allow any Republican to become president but himself while Trump was still alive.

On CNN Tonight, Lemon also called Trump’s attempts to overturn the election results ‘an attempted coup’ in response to the Washington Post audio of Trump calling Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger on Saturday in an attempt to fraudulently add votes to his total in that state.

During a rally in Georgia on Monday night ahead of the state’s two runoff Senate elections set for Tuesday, Trump continued to focus on making his claims of voter fraud.

‘There’s no way we lost Georgia,’ Trump said to an adoring crowd, according to CBS News. ‘I had two elections. I won both of them.’

‘If the liberal Democrats take the Senate and the White House — and they’re not taking this White House — we’re going to fight like hell, I’ll tell you right now,’ Trump continued.

Joe Biden won Georgia by more than 11,000 votes, which has been certified and confirmed on multiple occasions by Raffensperger, despite Trump’s claims of voter fraud.
